Rays like Heilman

According to Ken Davidoff of Newsday who is reporting from the GM meetings, that the Rays have some interest in Aaron Heilman.

In my opinion Heilman absolutely has to be moved, I don't think he can succeed here and needs a change of scenery.

The Rays are said to need to move Edwin Jackson to make room for David Price but if the price is too steep, I think Jonny Gomes is a change of scenery candidate and could be a young right handed outfielder for us......

The Rays have surplus starting pitching, with phenom David Price headed for the rotation, but Andrew Friedman won't be giving guys away. The Rays have yet to talk to the Mets about a potential match. Tampa Bay still likes Aaron Heilman, although not as much as it once did. source Newsday
