According to yahoo sports the Mets are in serious negotiations with starting pitching Derek Lowe. My biggest concern is that one of the teams that lost out on Tex. could jump in on Lowe and out bid us. I could see either the Red Soxs or Angels making a strong push for him. Lowe has been rumored to prefer the north east and a competitive team. What might make the Mets appealing is the weaker National League and Citi Field is suppose to be a pitchers park. I think Lowe would be the perfect fit for this team and hope they land him...
