It's been rumored for sometime that the Mets would like to change their catching position. There are reports that apparently the Mets weren't happy with the way Brian Schneider called a game. It's now being reported that the Mets have been in discussion with the Red Sox's for Schneider, it wasn't reported who they would receive in return but it was said that the Mets would have to be sure they could obtain another catcher before making a deal.
