According to ESPN the Florida Marlins and free agent pitcher Pedro Martinez an in early contract discussions. I'm not sure where the Mets stand with Pedro, I know they'll bring in another low level pitcher to compete with Tim Redding but they may not want to pay Pedro what he wants to be that player. Our luck will be that Pedro has that resurgent year he's hoping for and it will be against us.....
