It sounds like Pedro would like to pitch for the Marlins ( he owns a home in Miami) if the Mets chose not to pick him up but it doesn't sound like the interest is mutual. I'm glad there's still a chance Pedro could return, I'd like to see him in camp and competing for the fifth spot in the rotation since Tim Redding could easily be slid into the longman role. It will all come down to whether Pedro will take a big enough discount to be worth signing instead of, say Freddy Garcia.....the Marlins don't want to give a rotation spot to a pitcher attempting to rebound.
