No I'm not talking about Billy Wagner, but what could be interesting is if Wagner does make it back by roster expansion in Sept.. Today, K-Rod and J.J. went back to back against minor leaguers and each pitched a 1-2-3 inning. According to David Lennon it wasn't either closer who created the most buzz but instead it was the guy slated to pitch in front of them, Sean Green.....Green had a lengthy two-inning stint that took him 44 pitches to get through. He allowed a pair of infield hits -- both to third -- with three strikeouts and two walks. Green doesn't throw quite has hard as the other two, but he drew the biggest "oohs" and "aahs" for his wiffle-ball slider and nasty sinker.
Junior Spivey -- the only former major-leaguer in the lineup -- missed a sinker by what looked like a foot on strike three. The next inning, Green whiffed another with a nasty slider.
"How do you make the ball do that?" one minor-leaguer said from behind the backstop. "Seriously." source Newsday
