Just prior to the rule five draft the Royals made room by cutting former Met Mike Jacobs and John Bale. I wouldn't be surprised if we here either players name linked to the Mets, Jacobs could be another inexpensive player to bring in for a try out at first base and Bale is a left handed reliever.#Royals to release 1B/DH Mike Jacobs and LHP John Bale prior to Rule 5 Draft.
