About three hours ago Tracy Ringolsby reported that the Mets were interested in Chad Qualls, I'm not sure if signing Carrasco takes them out of the relief market or if they could sign both.
The 31 y/o right hander would be a solid set-up for a bullpen that doesn't have a true set-up man, the last three years he has compiled 45 saves and until this past season his career ERA was around 3. Splitting time between Arizona and Tampa he had an awful season, losing the closers role and pitching to an ERA of 7.32.
