Evans DFA, Duda recalled...

In case you missed it there was a roster move prior to tonight's game.  After leaving Milwaukee the Mets designated Nick Evans for assignment.  Evans simply never got it going, he appeared in eight games ( 17 PA) and never got a hit.  If your looking for a silver lining for Nick is was that he showed a very good eye in walking five times for a .294 OBP.

To take Evans place on the roster the Mets recalled Lucas Duda, his last stint in the majors didn't turn out so well as he hit .100 in 23 PA with only one walk and extra base hit (double).  But after being demoted Duda tore up Buffalo hitting .302 with 10 HRs, 8 doubles and 24 RBIs. 

In his first game he went 1-4 with two RBIs...
