MiLB News: Harvey Finds His Legs In Binghamton

For the first time since being promoted to AA Binghamton in late June, the Matt Harvey everyone expects took the mound Thursday Night.  Pitching 7.0 innings of one run baseball, Harvey struck out ten and walked only two.  Despite earning a no decision, Harvey lowered his ERA from 7.15 to 5.76 with the outing.

Although his results at the AA level have not been there as of yet, Harvey remains a strike out machine.  On average striking out more than ten batters per nine innings, with Thursdays success he now possesses a 4.22 strike out to walk ratio.  Encouraging numbers no doubt...

And on a side note, Harvey struck out the National's #1 prospect, Bryce Harper, on two occasions last night!
