Pre-Game 105: New York Mets @ Cincinnati Reds

The New York Mets(53-51) will look for their first 4-game series sweep of the year as they face the Cincinnati Reds(50-54) at the Great American Ballpark at 12:35 PM ET.

Chris Capuano(8-10, 4.26 ERA) will take the mound for the Amazings looking to rebound from his last start against against the Florida Marlins. While Capuano shut the Marlins out for the first 5 innings, Capuano fell apart in the 6th, allowing 4 earned runs to end his night. Capuano has lost 3 consecutive decisions and hasn't earned a win since July 4th. Capuano has produced greater results during day games, though, pitching to the tune of a 3.65 ERA.

Homer Bailey(5-4, 3.67 ERA) will look to be the Anti-Capuano as he looks for his third consecutive victory. Bailey has pitched well all season but has been dominant at Great American Ballpark, posting a 2.51 ERA in 5 starts. Since the All Star Break, Bailey has posted a 2.03 ERA in 2 starts. This will be Bailey's first career start against the New York Mets.
