Pre-Game 107 - New York Mets @ Washington Nationals

The New York Mets(55-51) will look to win their 6th consecutive game tonight as they oppose the Washington Nationals(49-56) in the second game of their 3 game series at 7:10 PM ET in the nation's capitol.

R.A Dickey(5-8, 3.74 ERA) will look to pick up his 6th win of the season coming off of a strong outing in Cincinnati in which he allowed 2 runs in 6 2/3 innings. Dickey will be making his third start against the Nats this year, having limited the Nationals to 2 runs over 6 2/3 innings on April 27th. It's worth noting that Jayson Werth has R.A Dickey's number as he's batting .353 against Dickey with a home run in 19 plate appearances. Rick Ankiel has also managed to post 5 hits in 14 at bats against the knuckler.

Jason Marquis(8-5, 3.95 ERA) will look to continue his solid year thus far, having allowed more than 3 runs only twice in his last 10 starts. The Manhasset native has pitched much better at home this season, posting a 3.26 ERA in 8 starts. Marquis has struggled mightily against the scorching hot Jason Bay, having allowed 5 home runs in 49 plate appearances. Bay is batting .372 against Marquis lifetime with a .429 OBP.
