Pre-Game: Game 101- New York Mets @ Florida Marlins

The trading deadline now officially one week away, Carlos Beltran's expiration date as a New York Met will coincide. On what will probably be his final Sunday as a New York Met, Carlos Beltran will bat 3rd and look to help lead the Mets to their second consecutive series win.

Dillon Gee(9-3, 3.67 ERA) will look to continue his impressive rookie campaign this afternoon as he takes the hill for the second time since the All Star Break. After coming off of consecutive rough starts before the break, Gee picked up his 9th win of the season on Tuesday night by limiting the Cardinals to 2 runs on 3 hits. Gee hasn't pitched well away from Citi Field this year, posting a 4.85 ERA in 7 starts and 8 appearances compared to his 2.85 home ERA.

Anibal Sanchez(6-3, 3.52 ERA) has been the Marlins' best pitcher since Josh Johnson hit the disabled list earlier this year and has pitched to a 3.47 ERA at Sun Life Stadium this year. David Wright may be happy to find out that Sanchez has posted an ERA of 4.45 against right handed batters this year, something Wright has struggled mightily against.

The trio of Carlos, Jose and David may be coming to an unceremonious end, but on this final Sunday it's hard to argue that it isn't necessary.
