Tonight's Game - Pitching Change

This afternoon the Washington Nationals traded starting pitcher Jason Marquis to the Arizona Diamondbacks. As a result, Yunesky Maya will make the spot start for the Nationals tonight against the Mets.

Maya, who hasn't appeared for the Nationals since June 14th, is 0-1 in four starts so far this season. In those four starts, he has only made it out of the fifth inning on one occasion and currently boasts a 6.86 ERA. Maya appeared against the Mets twice last season throwing a total a ten innings in which he gave up six earned runs. He was 0-1 in those outings.
