Closer's market could shrink by default

The closer's market could be drastically reduced of the top tier closers by two, with the opportunities shrinking for K-Rod and Ryan Madson they may accept arbitration.  It's not that there aren't teams in need of closers but most of the team's left are looking for one year bargains.  I didn't think either were ever coming to the Mets, the point is that if they remain with their teams from last year that puts three teams ( Reds, Mets, Red Sox) looking at Frank Francisco and Francisco Cordero...
Cordero sees himself as an elite closer and seems to be a good fit for Boston, but Boston isn't as urgent for a closer since they have an elite set-up man with Daniel Bard. The Reds aren't bringing back Cordero so it could be a two team race for Frank Francisco.

Sorry forgot about the Angels, who are also looking for a closer.

If the Mets lose out on what's categorized as the top tier of closer, here's the next group that could be considered for the job.
