Tejada leaves game, who fills in - Quintanilla...

Ruben Tejada left today's game with a strained right quad muscle, Justin Turner took over at short and while Turner was originally a short stop most would view him as only an in-game solution.  Ronny Cedeno is eligible to return from the DL today but only started batting and taking grounders on May 1st.  Cedeno is coming off an oblique injury, the recovery time from such an injury vary greatly and are mired with slight set backs.

The obvious fill-in for Tejada would be Jordany Valdespin but the Mets just sent him down, so unless they place Tejada on the DL Valdespin isn't eligible to return for ten days.  If they decide Tejada isn't going to take long but need someone with more range then Turner, veteran Omar Quintanilla is playing short and hitting .291 in Buffalo but that would cost someone like Josh Satin their roster spot...
