D-Backs working on an OF trade...

The Diamondbacks just signed Cody Ross to a three year 28M deal, I think they over paid by a year but they got the outfielder they wanted and now have too many.

Buster Olney is reporting that they actively working to trade an outfielder, no teams were mentioned but the Mets are said to be looking to trade for an outfielder so there could be a match.

The name being mentioned most is Jason Kubel, the 30 y/o is another lefty, his lifetime BA is .268 with a .334 OBP and averages 24 HRs a season.  Since I believe Upton would be too expensive and Kubel really doesn't interest me I would be looking at Gerado Parro, .270ish hitter, .330 OBP and while he lacks power ( 7 HRs) he provides speed stealing 15 bases last year.

Arizona is, in fact, working to trade an outfielder, in the aftermath of the Ross deal. Kubel is regarded as the most likely guy to be dealt source Buster Olney
