Jays and Rangers still in on Dickey...

Jon Heyman of CBS sports reports that the Jays and Rangers are still interested in R.A. Dickey.  Any possible trade discussions are being held up by Zach Greinke, any team looking for a top of the line starter is going to wait until Greinke is off the market before they start giving up the farm for one.

It looks like the Dodgers are the front runners for Greinke but the Rangers are still considered in the mix.  Once Greinke is off the market the Mets can gauge the value of Dickey, while the players mentioned aren't the #1 prospect for most teams I would have already taken them for the 38 y/o Dickey.

Heyman mentioned former top OF prospect Anthony Gose, Toronto is also carrying five catchers on the 40 man roster after claiming Eli Whiteside during the winter meetings...

at least #bluejays along w/ #rangers involved in RA Dickey talks. toronto thought unlikely to trade D'Arnaud. gose maybe source Jon Heyman
