Reynolds -live with SO but the defense..

In one of the more creative rumors of the day it was reported that the Mets had expressed interest in Mark Reynolds to play the corner outfield.  Reynolds was originally a 3B when he came up with the D-Backs but moved to 1B full time with the Orioles.  He has two major league games in the outfield and 23 minor league games in LF.

Of course, the Mets would bring him in for his bat, over his six year career he's averaged 30 HRs and 85 RBIs a season.  Reynolds has been notorious for his strike out ratios, generally leading the league with somewhere near 200 per year.

I could live with the strikeouts for the power but I'm not sure of the defense especially considering the team already has Duda...

The #Mets have contemplated the idea of signing Mark Reynolds to play OF. His price ($7 mil-ish) might be too high, though. source Ken Davidoff
