Brown more versatile then just corner OF

By now we've heard that the Mets have signed Andrew Brown to a minor league deal with an invite to spring training.  Brown has been described as a corner outfielder since any of his major league experience with either the Rockies or Cardinals was in the corner outfield.

But Brown was originally a 1B who has 239 minor games at the position and every year he has played a few games at 3B in which he's compiled 42 minor league games at the position.

Brown has spent over 257 minor league games between the corner outfield positions but I just wanted to point out that he was more versatile then that.

While he's only hit .224 in the majors that was only 57 games, in AAA he hit .296 with a .362 OBP. Maybe he just needs a full chance in the majors or maybe he's just another AAAA player.
